Birchbox

What is a "Birchbox" you might ask? Well, it's not a wooden box. It's a box you receive in the mail once a month that is filled with beauty goodies! If you're a beauty junky or a product adventurer this is right down your alley. My mom purchased a 6-month subscription for me as a Christmas gift and it is definitely one of my favorite gifts.

Let's take a look at my box from January. The products included:

Deborah Lippmann "The Stripper to go" Lavendar Nail Lacquer Remover
Lumiere d'Hiver Clarifying Shampoo
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner
Aerie Shimmer Perfume
Caudalie Vinexpert Radiance Day Cream

My Favorite Product by far was the Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner. I am usually not a believer in liquid eyeliner as I find it is messy and I end up looking like a sloppy newbie to makeup application. However, this eyeliner has a nice felt-like tip that stays firm.  I found the eyeliner to stay on quite well without smudging at all. Here's a pic after I applied the Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner. Yes, that is a curler in my hair.

Addicted to Pinterest

Hi. My name is Paige Worstell and I am addicted to Pinterest. Anyone else have that particular problem? It might be the most addicting website. It's seriously like crack. Never, and I repeat, never, go on pinterest anywhere near bed-time because you will NOT sleep. My latest pinterest addiction is all things Fall.
Here are some items on my fall wish-list:

Patterned Pants?

What do you think of patterned pants? I don't mean crazy pajama-looking pants, if that's what you're thinking. I don't want to look like I just rolled out of bed! I saw an article in a magazine that showed 4 different girls wearing the same floral patterned pants. Of course, the article worked on me, and now I am obsessed with that pair of pants--I keep dreaming about what I could pair them with in my closet; however, I wonder if I could pull it off, especially since I am only 5'1." Maybe I could get over that fear. After all, I got over the fear of wearing maxi dresses because of my height. Should I get them?

Where For Art Though Color Bug?

(original image from http://shesitspretty.tumblr.com/post/11497506970/day6)

I used to be completely addicted to coloring my hair. I got bored--I colored my hair. I saw an awesome hair color while passing through the store--I colored my hair. One of my friends asked if I would color their hair--I'd color a few strands of my hair as well. You get the point. About 3 years ago I decided I had not seen my actual hair color in so long that it was time to grow it out. Since then, I have had virgin hair. I knew my willpower would not last forever, as I have recently been getting the color itch again. And of course it's not just any color I want. I'd love something fun and exciting like some strands of purple or pink. I know I'd regret it after a few days, BUT I found a product that would be the solution to my dilemma: it's called the Color Bug by Kevin Murphy. It is a chalk-like pigment that you simply rub over strands of your hair. You can rock the color for one day and then wash it out. Sounds great, right?! The problem is I can't figure out where to purchase it. Where for art thou Color Bug!?!?!?!?!?!
