Boutiques.com

Who has heard of boutiques.com? It's Google's latest launch and its awesome! Google has now stepped into the fashion scene with this new site that actually acts as a stylist and a fashion search engine. Ever wondered what Karl Lagerfeld suggests you wear? Or What Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen would choose? Boutiques.com allows a visitor to create their own boutique. It goes through a series of 6 steps:
1. Stylyzer
2. Love and hates for dresses
3. Love and hates for tops
4. Love and hates for bottoms
5. Love and hates for shoes
6. Designers
The process begins by showing you a series of images that include different outfits, runway looks, magazines, and drinks in order to get a feel for your sense of style. There are a lot of images to go through so you know it is really trying to "learn" your style. After you have clicked through all the images, it then tells you what your style is along with a little blurb abt it. I was told I am edgy. Which I think is pretty true. Once it has assessed your style, you need to save your information and create an account. You can then continue on to the next 5 steps as listed above. This was only a teaser so to see what the next 5 steps do you should go get an account! It's really awesome! Let me know what you think.

P.S. you can also follow other ppl's boutiques to see their style picks! Mine is Paige's Picks!

shows you images and ask you to chose which you like better

  3. Ok I just had to tell you this short story real quick:

I was checking your page to see if you posted anything new, but I wrote www.trendpaige.blogpsot.com instead of www.trendpaige.blogspot.com. That took me to this weird, really crappy looking site called "Mega site of Bible studies and information."

I stared at it for like.. 2 minutes, wondering if you had gone through some sort of born-again-Christian experience or something. The end!
